Adelboden in the winter
In winter, more than 50 ski lifts and a piste network exceeding 210km (130 miles) makes us one of the largest and most attractive snow sports centres in the Swiss Alps - "Adelboden-Lenk ... dänk!". Adelboden’s sunny slopes with guaranteed snow offer plenty of space for individualists. A snow park and sledge runs complete our extensive range of facilities and ensure pure winter fun. The high density of welcoming mountain taverns and snow bars is legendary throughout Switzerland. 74 km (46 miles) of maintained winter hiking trails and the Leisure and Sports Centre with ice skating, indoor climbing, bowling and curling, provide plenty of alternatives to the ski slopes. Each January, the world's best male downhill skiers meet in Adelboden for the legendary races on Chuenisbärgli, the steepest and most challenging giant slalom slope on the World Cup circuit.
